On October 28, the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP) announced that in the first nine months of this year China's logistics sector recorded a 9.5 percent year-on-year rise in the total value of goods transported to RMB 145.7 trillion ($23.8 trillion), while this growth rate was down 0.4 percentage points compared to that recorded in the first half of this year.

In particular, in the January-September period this year the value of domestic industrial products transported amounted to RMB 133.4 trillion ($21.8 trillion), up 9.6 percent year on year, while the value of imported products transported was RMB 9 trillion ($1.47 trillion), up 9.0 percent year on year.
