The Los Angeles-based P-A-T-T-E-R-N-S architectural firm has been having some fun with textiles, redefining spaces, and lighting. This geometric light piece is part of an?experimental carbon fiber pavilion they call the Textile Room. This is no lamp, this is an entire room that's walls are defined by testing what it means to define a room space.

By blurring the line between hard and soft, intimate and public, they have created a unique alternative to square, drywall covered rooms. Imagine going to work in a cloth-like light space with semi-private surroundings. If it could just change colors we would be set.
