3.TSINGHUA UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS AND MANAGENT.

As one of the first economics and management schools in China, Tsinghua SEM is now among the premier schools in China and in Asia. The School was established in 1984. Professor Zhu Rongji is the founding dean of the School who later became the fifth Premier of the People’s Republic of China. The School's current dean is Professor Qian Yingyi.

4. CEIBS-CHINA EUROPE INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS SCHOOL.

China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), a joint venture for management education, was co-founded by the Chinese government and European Union (EU) in 1994, with Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the EFMD serving as its executive partners.

As China’s only business school to originate from government-level collaboration, CEIBS is committed to educating responsible leaders versed in “China Depth, Global Breadth” in line with its motto of “Conscientiousness, Innovation and Excellence”. Leaders from the Chinese central government, the EU and the Shanghai Municipality have respectively lauded CEIBS as a cradle of excellent executives, a role model of EU-China cooperation, and a calling card for Shanghai.

CEIBS offers China’s largest full-time, English-taught MBA programme, the world’s largest EMBA programme, stand-alone Global EMBA, as well as a part-time Finance MBA (FMBA) programme, a range of Executive Education programmes and an intensive Ph.D. programme. Renowned for its academic rigour, CEIBS is the first business school on the Chinese mainland to have been accredited by both EQUIS and AACSB and the only business school in Asia to have simultaneously made it to the Financial Times’ top 30 lists of MBA, EMBA and Executive Education programmes.

Over a hundred years old, Shanghai Jiaotong University is one of the leading universities in China. It has extensive and long-standing contacts with businesses in the country, and is thus able to facilitate CEIBS’ relations with the Chinese corporate world.

EFMD is an international membership organization, based in Brussels, Belgium. With more than 700 member organizations from academia (including 500 of the world’s leading business schools), business, public service and consultancy in 80 countries, EFMD provides a unique forum for information, research, networking and debate on innovation and best practice in management development. EFMD is recognized globally as an accreditation body of quality in management education and has established accreditation services for business schools and business school programmes, corporate universities and technology-enhanced learning programmes.


5.SHANGHAI JIAO TONG UNIVERSITY ANTAI COLLEGE OF ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT.

Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) was founded in 1896 as Nanyang College. Carrying on the tradition of “high starting points, a solid foundation, strict requirements, and keenness on practice and innovation,” SJTU has nurtured over 200,000 talents who have been working all over the world. Among them are famous statesmen such as Jiang Zemin and “The Father of Chinese Aerospace,” Qian Xuesen. There are other famous scholars such as the great master of mathematics, and winner of the first National Supreme Scientific Technology Award, Wu Wenjun and also, Wang Zhenyi who was the winner of the Kettering Prize for cancer research. Over 200 members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering are SJTU alumni.

The university enjoys national prestige and is a leading research-oriented and comprehensive university in China. A great number of SJTU alumni have made prominent achievements in recent years in various fields including IT, finance, manufacturing, etc. With SJTU situated in Shanghai, the most dynamic city in East Asia, its students and faculty enjoy both serene campus life and abundant offerings of this culturally rich and diverse city. The nearby Zizhu Science Park, with over 100 enterprise research centers, forms a strong atmosphere for innovation and R&D as well as promoting vigorous interaction between the academic community and industry through the fostering of innovative talents.

The five campuses of Xuhui, Minhang, Luwan, Qibao and Fahua of the university take up an area of around 400 hectares, housing a variety of activities from student life, athletics, and entertainment to research with laboratory facilities among the best in China.

SJTU libraries provide students with over 3.08 million paper books, over 5,000 periodicals and 3.05 million electronic documents. The campus network, with an enormous amount of resources, has become a digital platform for faculty members and students to enhance their work and studies.

In July 2002, Antai College of Economics and Management (ACEM) Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) became one of the first colleges allowed to have EMBA education. The program uphold SJTU traditional and unique spirit, and take  "contribute management wisdom, and cultivate the moral leaders for economic and social development " as the mission to educate leaders with global perspective, strategic thinking, excellent leadership and sense of social responsibility. After more than 10 years of development, the project has educated more than 3000 outstanding leaders for most of the fields.

 

In August 2013, ACEM improved the innovation education system. As a result, ACEM launched the first "EMBA of Innovation and entrepreneurial management”, and "Dual Tutor" constituted by academics and businessmen were designed.  ACEM also established the “ACEM SJTU innovation and entrepreneurs scholarship". At present, ACEM EMBA provides directions of integrated management, financial management, family business succession management as well as innovation and entrepreneurship management.

 

6.RENMIN UNIVERSTY OF CHINA SCHOOL OF BUSINESS. 

The School of Business (RBS) is a constituent school of Renmin University of China. It grew out of the Department of Factory Management, the Department of Trade Economics and the Program of Finance and Accounting. These three departments were established in 1950 and were the first business administration programs in China. With a history of more than 60 years, RBS has produced significant numbers of professional managers for businesses and government agencies, trained faculty for higher education institutions, and developed a large number of new programs and research fields. As a pioneer in management education in China, RBS has authored textbooks widely used in Chinese universities and advised government and businesses in decision-making and enterprise reform.

RBS has seven departments: General Management, Organization and Human Resources, Marketing, Management Science and Engineering, Trade Economics, Accounting, and Finance. RBS has 148 full-time faculty members with specializations in all major disciplines, including both cutting-edge researchers and effective instructors.

The School’s Business Administration program is designated by the Ministry of Education as a Level I National Key Subject and is therefore eligible for government support. Only four other programs in China have the same recognition. RBS’ Business Administration program was ranked first in China during the last national evaluations in 2012. Enterprise Management, Industrial Economics and Accounting have also been ranked as Level II National Key Subjects. RBS has 2 PhD programs in 7 disciplines, 5 professional master programs and 2 undergraduate programs in 6 disciplines, covering all areas of business administration education.

In recent years, internationalization has become a cornerstone of RBS’ strategic focus. In 2013, the School was accredited by AACSB and is in the process of renewing its EQUIS accreditation. RBS has established long-term partnerships with over 55 prestigious universities in the US, Canada, UK, Denmark, Ireland, Finland, France, Japan, Korea, Australia, Belgium, the Netherlands, Hong Kong and Taiwan. These partnerships involve faculty visits, student exchange programs and research collaboration. Overseas faculty and international students are steadily increasing. In 2011, RBS joined GNAM(the Global Network for Advanced Management), initiated by the School of Management at Yale University. It now boasts 23 members. All these initiatives are increasing RBS’ global profile.

7. TONGJI UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT.

Tongji University, founded in 1907 by a German doctor, is one of the 36 leading public universities in China included in the Ministry of Education's Project 985. It is ranked among the top 50 worldwide and top 2 in China by QS in engineering and top three universities in Shanghai. According to the 2014 Eduniversal Ranking for the best business schools around the world, the School of Economic Management (SEM) ranked 7th in mainland China, and its Master in Management was globally ranked the 52nd by Financial Times in 2015. It has been triple accredited by AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA.
