According to date released by the Japan’s Ministry of Finance, Japan’s exported 57,000 tons of stainless steel flat products in February, falling by 19.7% year on year while rising by 6.8% from a month ago.

In February, the country’s exports of stainless steel flat products to Korea totaled 13,744 tons, falling by 24.4%; those to China were at 9,056 tons, slumping by 50.2%, both compared to those in the same period of a year ago.

In the first two months of this year, Japan’s exports of stainless steel flat products totaled 110,386 tons, decreasing by 4.2% year on year.
